Is there a diffrence between the green and white mint chocolate chip ice cream? also of color is there a diffrence?

I love the stuff but the only difference is the green dye was put in it. But I prefer the green, but I know there is no real difference in taste. Its purely psychological, but I think it enhances the experience of eating. The color white is so boring for ice cream.

Gimme a Green Cell Phone

No, I'm not talking about LG's green-faceted Mint Chocolate phone (although, if I were in the market for a new Chocolate, the spearmint would be my preference). What I really refers to a new type of technology that the wireless industry is testing that will use alternative energy to power mobile phones. Cell companies have "heard the call" of millions ofgreen energy advocates and, in response, have begun working on ways to improve methods they have in place for years to change.

There are a number of different ways that the mobile industry can use instead of their current method of providing this service to its users. They realize that mobile phone towers, power can be powered by wind turbines. For those who do not know, turbines are one of several machines where the kinetic energy of a moving fluid such as water, steam or gas is converted to rotary motion.

These same cell towers can be operated through the use of solar panels, using the energy from the sun to power mobile phones. Antennas can also back up get their energy from hydrogen fuel cells and computer equipment can be cooled by geothermal energy and methods.

The wireless industry has come to realize, either by their own conscience or by the votes the millions who care about the deterioration of the earth and the ultimate demise, all of the negative effects that the current method has had on the environmental factors, and they seem to have a desire to change their techniques to do their part for the state of our world better. However, my skepticism prevails, and it almost seems as if their concerns are more and more live with the consequences of this change financially. In other words, if it saves them money, they are more interested in trying.

The ideas they have for this change over is still in its experimental phase, which means it can take many years for this critical plan be brought to fruition. To be honest, should be noted that Sprint Nextel has been testing alternative energy for their cellular power since 2004, although the use of hydrogen fuel at its 65,000 sites. Besides these, Sprint has been using many of the above mentioned alternates. T-Mobile is also an attempt to apply a number of alternatives. T-Mobile's director of national action plan set out fiscal incentives that are given to companies from countries when using alternative energy sources.

The idea of 'green' wireless technology is one step closer to achieving a more liveable world. Not only is there a certain amount of radiation that is emitted from the mobile phone antenna, power is used to operate the mobile phone towers is immense. Because the electricity is produced in the current, traditional, stand it on Mother Earth. These new ideas generated by some cellular companies (and I'm sure everyone will fit at some point to follow) are crucial to the necessary end result of the use of alternative energy that is humanly possible.
