Should I be upset with my friend over my bridal shower / wedding two years ago?

My friend got married 2 months before me. I went to all events wedding, shower and attended his wedding and reception that was 5 hours. I even went to his house to help make wedding favors for the reception. My friend was upset that she would have to miss church service to go to my wedding as I had on a Sunday! Then he tried to scale in my shower, because his friends were having a party that night and did not want to lose. Ends up showing in a bad mood in my shower, unwrapped me and shower gel leaves before everyone else and says: "Part of Nice" all sarcastically. Then go to my wedding and leaves after being there an hour! We have been friends for 10 years and since this happened I been away from my friend and I only talk to her by email shortly. Do I have the right to be angry and push my friend away? My friend "does not understand" even after I explained to her.

It sounds as if your "friend" has its priorities mixed up. Since you were a good friend to her during her nuptual process, it seems fair to reciprocate. Some "friends" are just users or psychic vampires. They will have everything you can out of a person who is helpful, but when it comes time to serve him, to be upset or simply ignore you. These are not real friends. I think they have every right to push their friend out of her life as she seems to "understand" even after talking with her.
